Digital Learning Specialist
The
HFM BOCES Instructional Services Division anticipates two
Digital Learning Specialist positions in the Gloversville School
District.
The successful candidate will
work under
the direction of the HFM BOCES Instructional Services Division
to support, promote and advance the integration of technology
into instructional delivery, leading to enhanced student
utilization and improved student achievement.
Digital Learning Specialists are
to focus
their research and staff development on needs generated from
students performances and from building colleagues.
expected to
research, develop and conduct 15-hours of facilitated
professional development experiences within their school,
district and BOCES region.
expected to
cooperatively develop one regional resource.
to share
their areas of expertise among a regional network.
to
participate in at least two days of summer professional
development.

temporary secretary, immediate opening.
The position requires working 14 hours per
week. Strong keyboarding and communication skills required,
along with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

The Office of Adult Literacy is seeking experienced, certified
teachers to teach adult English Language Learners.
Individuals who are bi-lingual and bi-cultural (Spanish) are
encouraged to apply. Preferred applicants will have ESL
certification. Morning classes meet Monday - Thursday 9 am -
noon. Evening classes meet Monday & Wednesday evenings 6-9.
Classes are held in Amsterdam. Fingerprinting will be required.
Teachers are compensated at $21 per hour.
Individuals who are experienced, without certification,
may inquire about adult education certification.

to work with out-of-school youth and adult learners.
