HFM BOCES Instructional Services provides school districts with support and training in the areas of curriculum, instruction and assessment as they strive to meet state and local goals for raising academic standards. Component school personnel are instrumental in designing the programs that are offered. Training for specific needs can be delivered at a component school district or at the main HFM BOCES campus, 2755 State Highway 67, Johnstown NY, 12095.

Management Support Services

For school district to provide excellent academic programs, they sometimes need assistance in carrying out routine operations, management and training. The following services have been developed at the request of school districts:

Locally staffed under the direction of Coordinator Robert Mark, SETRC is part of a statewide network administered by NYSED/VESID.

The HFM BOCES SETRC Office, part of the HFM Special Education Division, provides resources, information, consultation, and training support for staff development related to the education of students with disabilities within the HFM BOCES region.
