The
Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) Program prepares students for
the rewarding field of nursing. Because there is a shortage of
nurses nationwide, jobs are plentiful and average salaries are
in the range of $30,000 per year.
Interested students should
have a high school diploma or GED. In
addition, students must be scheduled to take the required LPN
pre-test. To register for this test, call (518) 736-4681,
ext.4969. If the test results predict
success in the LPN Program, an interview with the prospective
student will be scheduled.
Through an articulation agreement,
students who successfully complete the LPN Program may be
eligible to transfer credit to the Registered Nursing (RN)
Program at Fulton-Montgomery Community College in Johnstown.
