English as A
Second Language Classes to begin Sept. 10
English as a Second Language classes will be offered this
fall through the HFM BOCES Office of Adult Literacy. The
focus will be on developing conversation skills, combined
with reading and writing skills.
Classes meet 6-9 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays at the
Trinity Lutheran Church in Amsterdam beginning September 10, 2008.

Classes also meet 9 a.m. - noon on Mondays-Thursdays at
Centro Civico in Amsterdam beginning September 10, 2008.

Registration for these classes will take place at there
location on Monday, Sept. 8, 2008.
Students must attend registration to participate. A $25
registration fee will be charged. A minimum number of
students will be necessary for the class to be held.
