English as a
Second Language classes to begin in January

English as a Second Language classes will be offered this
winter through the HFM BOCES Office of Adult Literacy. The
focus will be on developing conversation skills, combined
with reading and writing skills.

Classes meet 6-9 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays at the
Trinity Lutheran Church in Amsterdam. Registration is on
Monday, Jan. 5, 6:00 p.m.

Classes also meet 9 a.m. - noon on Mondays-Thursdays at
Centro Civico in Amsterdam. Registration is on Tuesday, Jan.
6, 9:00 a.m.

Students must attend the scheduled registration session for
each site. Bring a photo ID with date of birth and a pen.
Attendance is required 2 days per week. Seating is limited
in each location. Reserve your seat early!
