Training scheduled for school bus drivers, monitors and
attendants
HFM BOCES Health-Safety Risk Management offers basic and
refresher courses
 HFM
BOCES offers several training opportunities for new and
experienced school bus drivers, monitors and attendants,
including the 30-hour Basic Course for new drivers.
Experienced bus drivers must take two, two-hour refresher
courses annually. The two-hour combined refresher, for
rexperienced bus drivers, monitors and attendants, is the first
course scheduled for 2009-10. It is offered on Aug. 6, 13, 20,
and 27 at different locations in the region.
The mandated, bus driver physical performance test is also
conducted through this service.
